A LETTER FROM THE FOUNDER

Hi Friend,

I’m Katie, the founder, and I’m so thankful you’ve found your way here.

August & After began in a season of transition in my own life - a time of balancing career, family, and the pull to finally build something of my own. From the beginning, I knew this couldn’t just be another store. I wanted it to feel like a pause, a breath of ease, and a reminder that beauty can live in the everyday.

By day, I’m still a 9 - 5 eCommerce girly working in sales operations. Basically, I'm deep in the numbers, processes, and systems that keep the sales department running. But August & After is where I get to pour into my creative side. It’s my space to dream, design, and curate in a way that feels both soft and intentional.

Every element of this brand from the behind-the-scenes operations to the packaging to the very pieces you’ll find here, has been personally chosen by me. I’ve touched every point of the process to make sure nothing feels random or rushed. Each item carries intention, care, and heart.

For me, August & After is about more than curated pieces. It’s about creating touchstones for your days in the everyday. May that be the soft robe that greets you in the morning, the jewelry you slip on before a big meeting, or the gift you share with a friend “just because.” I want this to be the place you reach for when you need comfort, confidence, or just a spark of joy.

Every order, every message, every connection here means more than I can say. It’s because of you that this dream continues to take shape, and it’s because of you that I wake up excited to create, build, and share more.
